Packaging EPR in Hungary

Under the current PPWR rule, an EU company selling packaged products directly to end users in Hungary must appoint an EPR authorised representative there. Hungarian law requires a foreign e-commerce producer to use a Hungary-established AR with a Hungarian tax number. A pending EU proposal may suspend the EU cross-border rule, but it has not changed current law.
