Official source register

Start with the law. Follow the local route.

PPWR is Regulation (EU) 2025/40. EPR is a responsibility model operated through applicable EU and national laws, registers, schemes, portals, and reporting rules—not one universal certificate.

  • EU primary sources
  • 27 country source files
  • Source date on every brief

EU legal foundation

Two official starting points.

The Regulation is the binding text. Commission material explains the policy and implementation context. Country operating steps still require national sources.

What each source can prove

Match the source to the claim.

01

Law and official journal

Used for the legal rule, definition, scope, and application date.

02

Authority and register

Used for registration, identifiers, forms, portal access, and public status checks.

03

Scheme or PRO

Used for operational categories, contracts, tariffs, declarations, and payment instructions.

04

Expert or market material

Useful for context and customer questions, but never the only basis for a legal duty or official fee.

National source files

Official links for all 27 EU countries.

Each country brief links its national law, authority or register, portal guidance, and schemes where available. What the rule says is kept separate from what smbf.me can do for the customer.

Two different controls

Source quality is not service capability.

A source answers: what does the rule or operating instruction say, for which period, and who published it?

A service scope answers: what work smbf.me or a named partner will perform for this country and case?

Next step

Use the source file for the country you actually sell into.

Then confirm the legal entity, sales route, packaging stream, and current operating process before acting.
