What these terms cover

These terms cover the public smbf.me website. smbf.me helps businesses organise packaging EPR work through country information, source links, data preparation, reports, and separately scoped professional services. A paid service starts only after the scope, countries, price, and start date are confirmed in writing.

A signed order, service agreement, and any applicable data processing agreement govern paid work and take precedence over a general website description or price illustration.

Information is not legal advice

Country pages explain rules in plain language and link to official sources. They do not replace advice from a qualified local adviser or the text of a law. You remain responsible for checking that your business information, packaging data, registrations, reports, and filings are correct.

Your responsibilities

• Provide information you are entitled to share and keep it accurate.
• Do not upload passwords, payment-card details, special-category personal data, or confidential information that is not needed for the requested work.
• Use official authority and register links for the final legal and filing requirements.

Service scope and fees

Subscription prices cover the countries and features stated on the pricing page. Taxes such as VAT, official registration charges, producer-responsibility organisation fees, and other third-party charges are separate where applicable. Registration, authorised-representative, and filing work is quoted as a separate scope unless your written order says otherwise.

Your data and materials

You keep ownership of the data and materials you provide. You confirm that you may share them and grant smbf.me the limited right to use them to answer the request or deliver the agreed service. Personal data is handled under the privacy notice and, where applicable, the signed DPA.

Content and permitted use

The website content, design, software, and smbf.me brand are owned by or licensed to the operator. You may use and copy reasonable extracts for your own compliance work. You may not resell the website content, misrepresent it as an official authority document, interfere with the service, or use automated access in a way that harms the site or other users.

Availability, suspension, and ending use

We may change or interrupt public pages for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We may restrict abusive or unlawful use. You can stop using the public website at any time; cancellation and termination of a paid service follow the written order.

Liability and governing terms

The public information is provided without a guarantee that it fits every legal entity, transaction, country, or reporting period. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Liability limits, governing law, and the agreed forum for paid work are set in the written order or service agreement, subject to mandatory law.

Changes

We may update these terms when the website, sources, requirements, or services change. The date shown on the page identifies the current version. Material changes to a paid service are handled under its contract.
